To Everyone!! Welcome to the Awesome Month of July!! Sunshine and excellent Golfing and All around Activity Weather are predicted for July!! Let's get out and enjoy the abundance of Fresh Air and what Life has to offer.

First off, Happy Birthday to Canadaon this our 143rd Birthday today and hopefully everyone, with be enjoying the entire day with their families and the fireworks, this evening, which should keep the Children excited, to the finish.

Where ever you are travelling on this first of July, be it locally or to far away destinations, make sure to leave plenty of time, for the Heavy Traffic, which will occur, probably going and coming.

Further on during the Week, we will have the opportunity to celebrate with our Neighbours to the South, as they too, observe the Birthday of the United States of America.

Many of us, will be travelling South and the Border Crossings, are sure, to be experiencing Delays, more than usual, so leave plenty of extra travelling time.

Thank you, to all those people, who helped me, Raise Funds, and hit Golf Balls on my behalf, in my 17th Annual Marathon of -- "HITTING Golf Balls for Cancer" held on Monday June 21st, 2008, which took place at the Niagara Sports Practice Centre, at the corner of HWY #55 and Eastchester Road, in Niagara on the Lake, and the Funds Raised, were dedicated to my Sister in Law, Mrs. Linda Larsen, and the total was $4248.00, as Linda is a Cancer Survivor, and finished her last Chemo Treatment, on June 19, and now is recovering nicely.

Your Generosity, far exceeded my expectations, and could not have been possible, with out "Jack & Lori" of 105.7 Easy Rock Radio, and "Penny Coles" of the Niagara Advance, and pictures & accounts by "Tara Adams", of St. Catharines Snap Paper, "Mark Kawabe" of the TheNiagaraGuide.com

Great Appreciation goes out to the Owners of the Niagara Sports Practice Centre: Gordon Paget, Bill Danychuk and Gord McIntyre, who for the 17th consecutive year, provided the Venue, and the ammunition, to complete the task at hand..... Thanks Gentlemen.....Cheers, Rick

Everyone!!

July is the first full month, of the Children being out of School, and many are attending Golf Camps, throughout the Peninsula.

(1) the Niagara Sports Practice Centre, located at the corners of HWY#55 and Eastchester Road, in Niagara on the lake, where you can enjoy the golf Facilities which include a Driving Range, both on Mats and GRass -   and there is also a putting green and chipping area, nearby. For those people, who are not into golf, but enjoy hitting baseballs, there are 9 different Batting Cages   which vary from Slow Pitch to very Fast -- Fastball Cages. Come out and enjoy the facilities.

2) the Fox Run Golf Course and Driving Range, which is a 9 hole Golf Course, located on HWY#20 , just between the Hwy#406 and the Allanburg Bridge. www.foxrunniagara.ca

The facilities include a Driving Range, with a Putting Green and Chipping area , close by. Enjoy the ability to get some short iron practice on their 9 hole Golf course   and then you can enjoy beveridges and food, upon your completion of your round of golf in the Clubhouse.

Gift Certificates for Birthdays, Anniversaries and Graduations, are available upon request.

Enjoy the many Golf Courses, that are open for play in the entire Niagara Peninsula, where the fully stocked Pro Shops, and reasonable prices, can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter what level of Play, you currently play at.

Congratulations!! On his 1st "HOLE IN ONE", to HUGH GRAHAM of Fonthill.... It happened on Wednesday June 30th, 2010, at Sparrow Lakes Golf Course in Welland, where playing on the 9th hole of the Sparrow Course, Hugh shot an 11 wood into the cup from 106 yards away.... Witnesses Fred Pilles & John Donaldson were overjoyed also... Congrats!! Again Hugh..... cheers, Rick.

Continued Success, everyone, whether you are just starting your Golf Career, or are a 5, 10, 15 or more veteran golfer. You are never too ---"young --OR-- old"----- to learn, and many Grandchildren today, are wishing their Grandparents, could join them, as they start their playing days, in earnest. Don't wait until retirement, come out and enjoy the Sunshine and Fresh air, and be a participant.
